The Class 334 are to receive overhaul and reliability improvements at Polmadie from January 2015 through until 2016. The work was rumoured to be completed towards the end of 2017

The work includes:

Installing power points at seats
Installing free onboard Wi-fi
Better heating
Upgraded air conditioning
