It not only consists of the wiki that you're reading now, but a busy online forum and mailing list, which was accessible to registered users. December 2008
14 December 2008 to 16 May 2009ScotRail
- Edinburgh – Aberdeen. Now limited stop south of Dundee
- Edinburgh – Dundee. New half hourly timetable, with additional hourly local trains calling at stations in Fife.
- Edinburgh – Perth. New hourly service all day, with the addition of a new Perth – Edinburgh service to the existing Edinburgh-Inverness service including a new morning commuter train from Blair Atholl to Edinburgh.
- Inverurie and Dyce. New direct services to Edinburgh and the service from Inverurie to Dyce and Aberdeen becomes hourly throughout the day.
- Aberdeen and Inverness. An extra service in each direction. The last evening train will now run through from Edinburgh via Elgin.
- Extra Inverness – Wick service to connect with the evening Scrabster-Stromness sailing.
- Additional commuter train from Ardgay to Inverness, new late night train on Fridays and Saturdays from Inverness to Tain, and additional trains on Sundays to Invergordon and Tain.
- For the first time, Kyle of Lochalsh will have four trains each way Mondays-Saturdays all year. The evening train from Inverness will depart earlier to restore the bus connection for Portree. The morning train from Kyle will run one hour earlier giving new connections at Inverness.
- Perth, Dunblane, Markinch, Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy. New early morning trains into Edinburgh giving connections with cross border services.
- Newcraighall, which was previously served by trains from Bathgate and to Dunblane, instead will be linked with the Fife Circle via Cowdenbeath.
- Additional summer services on the West Highland line from Glasgow to Fort William and Mallaig will run over a longer period from 29 March to 25 October.
- Revised departure times on Sundays on the route between Glasgow and Gourock to improve connections with ferry services.

- Two additional morning/evening services between Edinburgh - Glasgow Queen Street
- Alloa station reopens (19th May): hourly Glasgow - Stirling train extended to Alloa.

- Sunday services introduced to Larkhall (hourly)
- Sunday services introduced on Glasgow Queen Street - Bishopbriggs - Stirling route (hourly)
- The last service from Edinburgh to Glasgow C. via Shotts will now call at Uddingston and Cambuslang on Mondays to Saturdays.
Re-instated after Edinburgh Waverley remodelling work
- Bathgate - Newcraighall - Dunblane through services.
- All Fife Circle services will now continue to Edinburgh Waverley rather than terminate at Haymarket
- Full timetable is being reinstated between Edinburgh and West Calder.
