Description:: An old cutting of the entrance to Queen Street just about the time the concourse was being extended and platforms shortened. I think that in the latest scheme for the station the platforms are coming back to their previous position and the proposed demolition of the SPTE HQ will be to provide a new wider concourse to compensate for the longer, original length platforms.
