Description:: Sometimes, particularly if there was a defect of some kind in the sharp end cab, Class 91s would run with the blunt end leading with consequent speed reduction to 100mph as far as I can remember. This was the case one day in August 1997 with 91003 heading the 1000 Edinburgh to Kings X.
