Description:: 66 596, an unusual sight for the Borders Railway, on what may have been a route learning trip, approaches the viaduct at Hardengreen, immediately to the south of Eskbank station, on 23.4.21. The concrete viaduct was built in 2014 to replace what had been a stretch of embankment in the days of the Waverley Route but which was bulldozed away in 1990 to allow the A7 Eskbank bypass to be built.
