Description:: Further to question by "tc" here is a poor photo of Bawbee Bridge taken in march 2021. The photo is taken from the south with Leven on the right and Methil on the left. Whether or not it is two bridges, the finish and materials of the two spans look to be different. One factor which will need to be addressed if the bridge deck is to be raised (or rebuilt and raised) is that there is already a steep road climb onto the existing bridge from Leven which will probably need to be overcome by burying the buildings and yard of Mr Thomson the Monumental Mason.
