Description:: Believe it or not, this is now the Hayburn Interchange on the Clydeside Expressway as it was in the 1950s at the foot of Hayburn Street looking West towards Meadowside Granary now Glasgow Harbour. A Black 5 heads east with a freight which could be an iron ore train towards Partick Central/ Kelvin Hall depending when the pic was taken. Cattle trucks lie in the background to receive their Irish occupants from Merklands Quay. The trains ran to Robroyston Yard where they were separated for their various destinations.
