Description:: Hyndland Depot was built on the carriage sidings of the original Hyndland station and opened in 1960 to maintain the new fleet. This was taken on 3 May 1987 a week before closure when all maintenance was concentrated on Shields Depot,the latter having opened in 1967. This is now Hughenden Gardens I think.
