Description:: 30th May 2011 and sitting cold at Perth , gleaming 57001 on The Royal Scotsman Railtour.This locomotive was released into traffic from the Brush Falcon Works as D1875 on 2nd July 1965 and re-numbered under TOPS as 47356 in March 1974 , unofficially named 'The Gurkha' in 1995. Re-engineered into a Class 57 in July 1998 and taken over by Freightliner and named 'Freightliner Poineer'. Here we see it in WCRC Livery.
