Description:: We hear a lot about automatic ticket gates these days but how many remember the experimental ones introduced on the West Side of Glasgow Central in the late 1960s for the good folk on the Gourock and Wemyss Bay lines. The tickets were stored journey with no date validity, available for 2, 10, 20 and 50 journeys if I remember correctly.
